Speroni CACAM Cast Iron Self Priming Pumps

Speroni CACAM Cast Iron Self Priming Pumps are single stage, self-priming "jet" pumps with cast-iron bodies. Motor sizes range from 0.60kW to 1.0kW and have impellers in thermoplastic and motor supports in aluminium, while the 1.1kW and 1.5kW are in 304 stainless steel and cast iron respectively. Venturis in all models are in thermoplastic. They have stainless steel shafts, fitted with carbon ceramic and NBR mechanical seals and have IP44 motors. Single phase motors incorporate an overload protection device. They are designed for pumping clean water only at a maximum temperature of 35ºC. They should not be allowed to run dry, but by fitting an optional pressure controller (see pages 79 - 81) they can be protected from this and gives an automatic start and stop. Maximum recommended suction lift, when primed, is 8 metres. The pumps offer a wide pressure range for industrial boosting purposes, while their low operating noise, low power consumption also make them popular for a variety of domestic and horticultural applications.
